China Iowa Group is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Business Development & Marketing Manager for our West Des Moines, Iowa office. Based in West Des Moines with local teams in different cities in China, we offer the right intern the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in learning international business development as well as domestic key relationship management.
Responsibilities include:

Identifying and contacting prospective clients

Business correspondence – phone calls/emails/letters

Producing marketing materials including detailed reports and proposals

Internet research into new technologies, companies and legislation

Dealing with queries
-
Managing company’s social media marketing on content creation

Attending networking events
Duration: 4 months (likely to turn permanent following a successful internship)
Desired Skills/Experience:

Have excellent communication skills – must speak fluent English and Mandarin with a good telephone manner is essential as is confidence using all Microsoft Office software

Excellent written and oral communications skills

Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines

Be intuitive – it is necessary to be able to see what clients need and what should be delivered to help them

We are open to our intern working part-time (20 hours per week). The internship is for immediate hire, with flexibility on start and end dates. The position will be paid based on numbers of hours/week plus bonus.
